J.E. COSGRIFF SUMMER CAMP 2019

Pre-school, kindergarten and first grade students will be able to attend one to four weeks of J.E. Cosgriff Summer Camp. 

Each week has an exciting theme with plenty of learning, fun and creative activities.

Preschool - First Grade Camps

Surprises in the Ocean!

Week One

June 3rd - 6th

Hold your breath and jump in! Start on the ocean floor where pitch black is the only color to see. Find out who lives there! Move your way up where the Manta Ray, Angel Shark and Sea Cucumber add to the colorful life in the ocean. Design your own mini aquarium and learn about whales, sharks, dolphins, seahorses and much more. Create and take home your own colorful book of sea creatures and other critters that live in the deep blue sea!

Earth Science: Gee!-ology

Week Two 

June 10th - 13th

Learn about earthquakes, volcanoes, rocks, minerals and more during this exciting week of exploring the earth. As budding geologists, you will examine the structure of our planet. Earth and put rocks into special groups. Enjoy the adventure of a “nature walk” and like a true geologist collect precious rocks, leaves, seeds and more. You will learn about this incredible earth through stories, technology, photography, and your famous works of art.

Rainforest Wonders

Week Three

June 17th - 20th

Explore the wonders of tropical rainforests while you learn about animals, insects, food products and people who live in the rainforest. Discover that things you use every day come from the rainforest, then draw and paint many beautiful flowers, birds and other animals that live and grow there. Finally, answer these important questions: Why do we need the rainforests on our earth? What can we do to help preserve or save the rainforests?

June 24th - 27th

Humans are the perfect machine.
